Originally from Newfoundland, Cassandra now lives in Halifax with her husband, their son and Bernedoodle named Ocean. She joins the Shift team after working in a variety of social services settings, including shelters and residential group homes. Her extensive experience in staffing and support, as well as her initiative and “get it done” attitude are all built upon the foundation of having managed over 90 staff (unionized and non-unionized) for several years. Cassandra is also proud of attending St. Francis Xavier University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
To decompress after a long day, Cassandra loves spending time with her family and can usually be found baking up a storm in her kitchen!
