As a national complex care agency, Shift has been selected by BC’s Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) to launch and operate new mental health satellite service locations for children and youth.

READY. SET. GROW!

Check out our first launch in Prince George. Andrew Middleton, CEO, and Sherri Keenan, COO, and Tricia Medaglia, Director of Care, joined Prince George’s Program Manager, Prudence George, to set-up our five-bed facility. As part of an expanded clinical service delivery of BC’s Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre in Coquitlam (the Maples), the facility will offer short term treatment for children and youth closer to home. The program is designed to connect young persons ages 12-18 with their community, professional supports, and assist in a healthy transition back to family and home.

The Maples has been offering mental health services to youth since 1969. “We look forward to working in partnership with the Maples to provide a holistic blend of outdoor and cultural experiences with leading clinical care practices.” Andrew Middleton, CEO, Shift.

Shift is actively recruiting in Western Canada “This is an exciting time for driven care leaders to play a legacy role in shaping new supports for BC’s youth,” Rebecca Coleman, Recruitment Manager, Shift.
