Samantha Aung

Samantha is the Manager of Care for our Northwest Territories Adult Care Programs. She comes to Shift with a diverse background in shelter care, youth work, disability research, and experience as the manager of a First Response Team. Samantha is passionate about making care culturally relevant for all her clients and using a strengths-based approach to achieve goals. She holds a Bachelor of Life Sciences from McMaster University and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Samantha is excited to be a part of the Shift team in the Northwest Territories and has been enjoying time on the land and creating connections in the Inuvik community.
