Brenden Bourke

Born and raised in Fort Smith, Brenden is our Child & Youth Care Supervisor. He was promoted into this role after nearly ten years as a frontline Child & Youth Care Worker at our Trailcross program. Known by his colleagues as “the guy that’s been around forever”, Brenden has proudly worked with hundreds of Indigenous youth from across the NWT. Brenden is a member of the local Salt River First Nation, has three children, and is well known in the local sports community for his passion around hockey, slo-pitch and golf. It’s thanks to Brenden’s tireless dedication that the Trailcross outdoor skating rink is a well-maintained and wonderful community building asset.
