Andy Crooks

Andy joined Shift with a wealth of clinical, consulting and management experience. Originally from Sackville, New Brunswick, Andy obtained a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and Human Development from UNB before heading to Alberta where he spent 24 years supporting programs for adults and youth with both government and private agencies. Andy has extensive experience focusing on the design, implementation and evaluation of youth treatment programs, in addition to developing a clinical practice primarily focused on high needs children and families connected to the Alberta school system. He also brings over a decade of experience working with adults with disabilities across a full spectrum of needs. After several years working directly for the Alberta government in Human Services and Justice, Andy returned home to his Maritime roots to join the Shift team.
